Inclusivity
I just read that some airlines are dropping the phrase ladies and gentlemen when addressing their passengers, lest someone feel excluded. To be sure, some fliers act like neither ladies nor gentlemen, but I am confident that is not the reason for the change!
All this modern talk about being inclusive is really behind. The Bible has been inclusive for centuries! It says. . .
▸ All have sinned (Romans 3:23)
▸ All therefore are spiritually dead (Romans 5:12)
▸ All will be judged (2 Corinthians 5:10)
▸ God desires all to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4)
▸ Jesus died for all (2 Corinthians 5:14)
▸ The gospel is for all (Mark 16:15)
▸ All must repent (Acts 17:30)
▸ Jesus saves all who obey Him (Hebrews 5:9)
▸ Obedience includes all that Jesus commands (Matthew 28:20)
