Missing Church
I have heard several preachers expressing grave concern about the current status of worship assemblies. It is a view that I wholeheartedly share.
For several months, few churches met at all. While most are meeting again now, we are doing so with reduced schedules compared to normal. Elders are encouraging the fearful and physically vulnerable to stay home, and likely asking fewer questions of anyone not in attendance. A good many preachers, myself included, are making video lessons to accommodate those who are not attending. All this may make some sense, yet . . .
There is an immense danger, far worse than anything COVID-19 poses. The problem with missing church is, after a while you may not miss it. It is indeed a dangerous time.
