He is beneath us, upholding us. “The eternal God is a dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms” (Deuteronomy 33:27).
He is before us, guiding us. “I have set the Lord continually before Me” (Psalm 16:8a; cf. 119:30; 86:14).
He is behind us, reminding and encouraging us. “You will hear a word behind you, ‘This is the way, walk in it. . .’” (Isaiah 30:20-21).
He is at our right hand, protecting us. “Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken” (Psalm 16:8b).
He is all around us, rescuing us. “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them” (Psalm 34:7).
He is in us. “The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him” (1 John 3:24a).
“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence?” (Psalm 139:7).
