Jesus is the Answer
Please, find a/your Bible, open it, and READ the passages cited. The words I write are not inspired, but those recorded in the Book are God-breathed, 1Cor.2:12-13 (start with this passage).
In a world filled with suffering (self-inflicted and otherwise, Gal.6:7-8), futility (since Eden, and until the end of time, Rom.8:18-25), and moral depravity (such is the inescapable result of denying God, Rom.1:18-32), Jesus is the answer to all our “problems,” Eph.1:18-23.
So:
- If your world is full of narcissism and cruelty, He is humble and gentle, Matt.11:29.
- If you are constantly over-burdened and under-supported, He offers an easy yoke and light load, Matt.11:30.
- If you are tired of constant chaos and conflict, He offers peace, John 16:33.
- If you are thirsting for something more out of life than mere survival for as long as possible, He is the living water that quenches completely, John 4:10,13-14.
- If you are starving for something substantial, He is the bread of life, John 6:32-35.
- If you are stumbling in the darkness of perpetual doubt, He is the light of the world, John 8:12.
- If you are lost, He is the Way to salvation, John 14:6.
- If you are excluded, He is the door of hope that is open to you, John 10:9.
- If you are feeling invisible, overlooked, and/or misunderstood, He sees, cares, and understands, Psa.33:13-15.
- If you are being ignored by everyone else, He will listen and understand, Heb.4:15-16.
- If you are feeling unloved, He loves you to the fullest, Rev.1:5.
- If you are tempted, He’s been there and done that, and can and will help, Heb.2:18.
- If you are confused and hurting, He is the Good Shepherd that has compassion and can and will lead and heal you, John 10:1-18; Mark 6:34.
The list could go on and on (John 20:30-31), but you get the point: Regardless of the situation or question, Jesus is the answer! Won’t you let Him help you?
